Wow! I can’t believe it’s been two full years since I did a blog post on this site :(.
Things have been crazy busy but that’s a long story, which is not the point of this blog. During this time, I did relaunch BrendanZiolo.com with a new look, which I hope you like, but you are not coming here to be wowed by the site design. You are coming here to learn about marketing through my blog posts.
So for my 2019 New Year’s resolution, I want to put a stake in the ground that I will publish at least a post a month this year. I realize it’s far from ambitious as I’ve published more in the past but then again I’ve been quiet for 2 YEARS so I need to be realistic too.
In the past years, I’ve followed the lead of Chris Brogan to choose three words that will guide me in the coming year. Here are Chris’ 3 Words for 2019 and some background on his approach.
So, it only makes sense to re-start this blog with My 3 “B” Words for 2019:
- I’m always trying to tackle many things but need to focus and Build at least one of the following: an email series (you can sign up for it here), a course to help start-ups (and others) do marketing better, and my social media presence on LinkedIn, Twitter and maybe others.
- I’ve talked about this before but this site and blog have always been my main platform. For this to be successful I need to Blog more. ‘Nuff said on this one…
- And, finally I want, no need, to move my bigger project forward which is my Book, Engage Your Buyer. I have been wanting to write a book for quite some time and I’ve actually started two but neither is finished. I need to spend more time on it in 2019 and at least finish a shitty first draft.
I encourage all of you to try this exercise as a refreshing approach that can put you on the path to a more successful 2019. I surely hope my 3 B words: Build, Blog, Book will help me too.
To all my readers and followers, I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year and a prosperous 2019!

I’m totally here to be wowed by the site design.
Looking forward to seeing the book. How can I help hold you to it?
